Thinking Fast and Slow: 36 Life as a Story

Following the schedule of our Reading Calendar

Well… This chapter is like really well… boring.

My rephrasing: Some friends of Kahneman, after watching “Total Recall” decided to make a pointless experiment about how important are memories when evaluating former experiences. He put them in his book so they get some extra credit. Plus the chapter starts with a little digression on the Traviatta so he also sound cool and intelectual. Meh!

  1. David,
in my edition of the book, chapter 35 is “Two Selves” and chapter “Life as a story” is 36. I don’t know if it is a confusion from your part or that we are working with different editions.
If it is a confusion, I can do now the 35 “two selves” and we are back on track.
