Children’s lost imagination

There is a meme out there explaining how modern technologies and audiovisual media are killing people’s and particularly children’s imagination. Note that the fact that some idea is a meme doesn’t mean that it is a wrong idea. It just means that is contagious.

Anyway, here is a reflection by Tim Gill in his blog Rethinking Childhood after discovering the cups song culture. Take a look at the videos he provides if you are as lost at what it may be as Tim and I were. He asks himself if the so called lack of imagination of children may be nothing more that we adults are too old to see how children’s imagination manifests itself nowadays.
